What you will learn

8 concrete outcomes

Every bullet below is something you will have built, shipped or be able to explain by the time you finish the last lesson.

  • Design an offer that survives comparison with an agency quote
  • Build compounding demand from content, referrals and partnerships
  • Run sales conversations by asking questions instead of pitching
  • Write proposals that function as decision documents, then follow up in sequence
  • Price by value where it fits and by day rate where it does not, and track business health monthly
  • Deliver with a weekly rhythm that prevents unpleasant surprises
  • Handle difficult clients, and end a relationship cleanly when required
  • Use AI assistants across the business without producing hollow work

About this course

This is the complete operating system for a one-person software business: twenty-three hours covering everything between deciding what you sell and depositing the final payment.

Part one is positioning and offer design. What you sell, to whom, and why they should choose you over the agency quoting three times your rate. Part two is demand: content that compounds, a referral habit that does not feel like begging, partnerships with agencies who need overflow capacity, and outreach that is specific enough to get answered. Part three is sales, which for developers mostly means asking questions instead of pitching, qualifying properly, and writing a proposal that works as a decision document.

Part four is money: pricing models and when each fits, value-based pricing done without theatre, deposits and milestones, raising rates, and a monthly financial dashboard. Part five is delivery: kick-off, weekly rhythm, written updates that prevent surprises, scope conversations, and a handover that generates referrals rather than relief.

Part six is risk and longevity: contracts, intellectual property, the difficult client conversation, firing a client properly, and the quiet-month plan every freelancer needs before they need it. The final part covers using AI assistants across the business, from proposal drafting to delivery, without producing work that reads like nobody wrote it.

No, and the price reflects that. What you receive is the complete course, every template, script and worksheet, and free updates through your access link.

Most buyers work through one part per week alongside client work. The templates mean each part produces something usable rather than only understanding.

Checkout is handled on our provider's secure payment page. The moment your payment clears we email your personal access link and access code to the address you used at checkout, and the same link appears in your account library. There is nothing to install and nothing to wait for.

Email misteryjj100@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase, quote your order number, and we refund the full amount to your original payment method. No form to fill in and no questions about how much of the course you watched.

Platform engineer and DevOps instructor

  • 219 students taught

  • 4.8 instructor rating
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD
  • Testing and tooling

Tom has built delivery pipelines for teams of three and teams of three hundred, and openly prefers the smaller ones. He teaches Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD outward from a single commit, so nothing ever appears by magic, and he treats the test suite as part of the pipeline rather than a separate subject. Every course includes a deliberate outage that you have to diagnose from logs and metrics before you can continue. He is a CNCF contributor and a reluctant but formidable YAML expert.
